JJ CLASSIC BREEDER’S INCENTIVE 2008 STALLION NOMINATION FORM

Stallions must nominate on an annual basis in order for foals to be eligible and to take advantage of the promotional opportunities. Futurity entries by sires currently enrolled in the program are eligible for the JJBI purse with no additional fee. Futurity entries that were foaled during a year their stallion was nominated (but for whatever reason the stallion is not currently paid) up can still compete for the JJBI for an additional fee of $100.

Both options are GREAT value for you advertising dollars! You get your stallion listed on our web page for one year, and listed on our JJBI stallion page in each UBRA Tour program book (5 total) not to mention the JJBI incentives your foals can run for!

OPTION 1
___NOMINATE STALLION
$250 Nomination Due January 1st, 2008. ($250 total and your stallion is NOT included in the stallion auction)

Your advertising information for fall program book must be included with payment. You will get 1 free full page ad in the NRF Tour Finals at Sherburn program book (MAY 2008) ONLY IF YOU SEND A CAMERA READY AD. Ad size should be black and white and able to reproduce on copy machine – note if there is a lot of color it WILL NOT reproduce easily. If you want to include your own color ads send 200 copies to my office no later than Sept 1, 2008.

OPTION 2
___ NOMINATE STALLION BY DONATING BREEDING TO STALLION AUCITON.
You must pay $150 deposit by January 1st, 2008.
(This will be refunded if your breeding brings the minimum bid of $250) if your stallion does NOT bring the minimum bid of $250 you will be responsible for paying the remaining $100 by March 1st, 2008) Failure to pay in full by this date will result in $50 late fee per month until paid. If your stallion brings $250 or more your deposit will be returned to you in full as soon as the auction check clears and you will NOT be required to make the March payment.

Money collected from the JJBI auction goes towards the JJBI purse. 20% of the JJBI purse is held out for internet expenses, auction fees, advertising, and administration. 20% to stallion owners JJBI futurity payoff and balance to JJBI Futurity payoff.

It is understood that the stallion service must brig more than $250 at auction, or the stallion owner listed below will be responsible for the $250 JJBI 2007 annual fee.
No refunds for any reason.
It is further understood that the auction is to be held online January 1st, 2008 and will close Friday, February 1st at Noon. The donor reserve the right to bid on his own behalf.
A bonus of $500 will be awarded to any foal conceived from the 2008 stallion auction that wins the JJBI average in 2012 or 2013.
The bidding will begin at not less than $255 (reserve of $250)
A live foal guarantee is required with this contract.
You will be provided with the name, address and phone number of the winning bidder upon conclusion of the stallion auction and receipt of payment. It is up to you and the buyer to make contact and arrangements.
